It was a task she never relished and she would find peace from her duties by escaping into the human realm where she fell in love with a young farmer named Hector. For him alone, she was willing to give up her godhood and live as a mortal in their world.
But on the very day Bethany was to meet Hector and runaway with him, Apollymi destroyed their entire pantheon and imprisoned Bethany.
